Honors Guidelines & Tips: General Submission Guidelines

Submission Requirements

All written work done fulfilling the requirements for the Honors Project is to be deposited in the College Library in a form specified by the Library Committee.

Deadline for submission to the Library is Friday, May 15, 2015 at 5PM.

Images & Media

§  Color Images: 
If the project includes any color images, tables, graphs, etc., attach an appendix which reproduces them in black & white (grayscale).  This appendix may simply be labeled “Color images in black & white.”  Alternatively, submit the images as JPEG or PDF files on an accompanying CD Gold disk. Do not write on the disk, instead Attach a piece of paper to the case (or enclose it in the case), with your name, the title of the project, and “2015.” 

§  Sound: 
If your project includes a sound recording, submit the recording as a WAV or AIFF format file on an accompanying CD Gold disk. Do not write on the disk, instead Attach a piece of paper to the case (or enclose it in the case), with your name, the title of the project, length in minutes, and “2015.”

§  Moving Images: 
If your project includes moving images, submit those as low-compression files on accompanying miniDVs or DVDs.  Do not write on the disk, instead attach a piece of paper to the case (or enclose it in the case), with your name, the title of your submission, the length in minutes, the file format, and “2015.”

§  Labeling:  Please don't write directly on the CD or DVD: attach a piece of paper with necessary information.

We started this last year and it was a big success!  With your permission, we’ll take your picture when you submit your thesis.
